WHAT IS EFT?
EFT - also known as Emotional Freedom Technique or Tapping is a strategy rooted in a combination of traditional acupressure and modern psychology, and used to 'heal' the emotional triggers we have around particular events or circumstances. It is a self-administered self help tool which has been proven to reduce the stress hormone cortisol in the body, and helps to re-wire our neural pathways and the feelings that are elicited in our physical body.
The memory or event will still be there - we cannot travel back in time and change things - however, with EFT we work to remove the emotional charge around how we remember it so we no longer have the intense emotions or reactions attached to it.

NLP - also known as Neuro Linguistic Programming is a modality that encompasses the mental and emotional elements of our brain and that language that we use to communicate with. NLP explores the relationship between how you think (neuro), how you communicate verbally and non-verbally with both yourself and others (linguistic) and your emotional and behavioural patterns (programming).
Our past experiences, thoughts, beliefs and emotions affect every area of our lives, and when we become aware of and understand these conscious and unconscious patterns and behaviours we are able to reset those which no longer serve you, allowing you to have the opportunity to create the success you desire in any area of your life.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SESSION LOOK LIKE?
Every session is different and is tailored to your specific requirements, however many follow the same outline.
We will 'drop in' before working to uncover the aspects of your habit, fear or phobia, or other issue and how it is a problem for you.
We will work together using various tapping techniques which require you to repeat a statement after me, and then tap on various points on your head, face and upper body.
